Local Giving

One of Love’s Travel Stops core values is giving back to the locations where we operate, because we value the partnership we have with each of the communities we call home. Each Love’s location has a limited annual donation budget that is allocated to their local nonprofit of choice. At new store openings, Love’s presents a donation to a local nonprofit during a ribbon cutting event in partnership with the chamber of commerce.

Each Love’s location across the country participates in Love’s annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising campaign. The money raised at each store goes to the local children’s hospital, making a difference for children in their home community.

Corporate Giving

Love’s corporate giving is focused in the Oklahoma City metro area, where we contribute two percent of net profits to charitable organizations. Love’s corporate employees make annual contributions to the United Way of Central Oklahoma, with the Love family matching 50 cents for every dollar contributed.

Giving Guidelines

Love’s is proud to support nonprofits in our home state of Oklahoma and in communities where we operate across the country.

Love’s issues monetary or in-kind donations to the following types of organizations:

• Must have non-profit, 501 c(3) status
• Preference is given to organizations with an emphasis on education and youth programs
• Organizations which work to improve the community
• Health-related organizations

Love’s does not make contributions to the following:

• Individuals
• Political candidates
• Tickets for purchase that will benefit shows or circuses
• In-store fundraising solicitation for a nonprofit organization
• Religious causes
