Corporate Giving

Love's directs the majority of its charitable contributions to charities in and around our Oklahoma City headquarters.

Local Giving

All Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores allocate funds each year to support local charities and non-profit organizations in their communities. Our stores support schools and other organizations that focus on youth and education, such as 4-H clubs and Future Farmers of America (FFA).

Because Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores receives more requests than we can fund, we have established guidelines for contributions. These should be taken as directions for agencies or non-profit organizations that are seeking funding or other support. Our review committee meets regularly to consider requests. We typically issue a response within four weeks of receiving a proposal.

Love's issues monetary or in-kind donations to the following organizations:

  • Must have non-profit, 501 c(3) status
  • Preference is given to organizations with an emphasis on education and youth programs
  • Organizations which work to improve the community
  • Health-related organizations

Love's does not make contributions to the following:

  • Individuals
  • Arts organizations
  • Political candidates
  • Tickets for purchase that will benefit shows or circuses
  • Fund-raising solicitation drives for a non-profit organization
  • Religious causes

Charitable Giving FAQ

Q:If I'm in a town where you have a store, should I call the corporate office for a donation request?

A:No – all corporate office donations are focused in the Oklahoma City metro area.

Q:How should I submit my donation request?

A:Refer to the charitable giving guidelines and send a written request by email or regular mail. No phone calls please.

Q:Who makes the decision about my donation request and whether it is approved or not?

A:Store general managers have a limited annual budget available for local charitable requests. If your request falls under the giving guidelines and is within store budget, a check will be mailed within four weeks of approval. All corporate donation requests are reviewed by a committee.

Q:If I live in the Oklahoma City metro area, who should I contact for a charity donation proposal?

A:First, review the charitable giving guidelines. If your request meets the guidelines, please submit a written request to donations@loves.com.

Q:Our church is having our annual fundraising drive to benefit the local children's home. Can Love’s contribute to this event?

A:No, unfortunately church fundraisers and religious causes do not fall in line with the Love’s charitable giving guidelines.

Q:I'm a coach for a local little league baseball team and would like to know if Love’s could help us purchase new uniforms for the season?

A:Yes, Love's is happy to contribute to any youth community causes.
