College Graduates Working as a Love’s Leader in a Store
The Love’s Leader Program is looking for high caliber, proven leaders who quickly learn the travel stop business and Love’s operations in order to run a Travel Center. Depending on your background and experience, as well as your ability to learn, you could be in this program from 18 to 36 months. Love’s will look for individuals who have can lead large organizations and bring a strong track record of operational successes, the ability to handle a steep business learning curve, a hands-on management style, and the desire to learn how to run a successful, multi-million dollar business within Love’s.
Your training will be fast paced and hands on. You will literally learn every function in a Love’s travel center including fuel sales, inside retail sales, fast food concept sales, tire care services, other facilities revenue, facility maintenance, inventory management, finance, human resources, legal, and more. Love’s hands-on leadership philosophy shares some principles you learned in college. The most effective leaders know how to lead by example. This means you have to know every aspect of the business before you can run it. You will learn how to run a quick service restaurant by managing one and you will learn the Tire Care maintenance business by working in a Love’s Tire Care facility. You will have ample assessments and feedback to develop your business and operational skills to help you excel as a General Manager.
