Love's opens in Burlington, Colorado

Love's adds 73 truck-parking spaces along Interstate 70

OKLAHOMA CITY, March 10, 2016 -- Burlington residents and drivers traveling on Interstate 70 have a new place to purchase fuel, snacks and more as the new Love's Travel Stop opened its doors for business today.

"We are excited to open another great location in Colorado," said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love's Travel Stops. "We look forward to being a part of the Burlington community and serving Customers with the 'Clean Places, Friendly Faces' Love's is known for."

The 24-hour, 10,000-square-foot facility adds approximately 40 jobs to Kit Carson County. Customers can enjoy a Carl's Jr. restaurant, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of seven showers, 73 truck-parking spaces and a Love's Truck Tire Care center. A 78-room Fairfield Inn & Suites will open adjacent to the travel stop this summer, which will add approximately 15 more jobs.

Love's will donate to the Burlington School District and the Prairie Family Center as a part of a ribbon cutting at the new Love's at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 17. Members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend the ribbon cutting.
