Love's adds 107 truck-parking spaces along Interstate 20

OKLAHOMA CITY, March 17, 2016 -- Love's Travel Stops opened its doors for business today in "The Tall City" along Interstate 20, giving residents and travelers a new place to purchase fuel, snacks and more.

In 2014, Love's opened travel stops in Andrews and Fort Stockton and a Microtel Inn & Suites in Pecos. A travel stop in Pecos opened in late 2013. Love's first travel stop in the area opened along Interstate 20 in Odessa in 2006.

The 24-hour, 10,000-square-foot facility in Midland adds approximately 40 jobs to Midland County. Customers can enjoy Subway, Chester's and Godfather's restaurants, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of seven showers, 107 truck-parking spaces and a Love's Truck Tire Care center. An 81-room Suburban Extended Stay will open adjacent to the travel stop this summer and add approximately 15 more jobs.

Love's will donate $2,000 to Centers for Children & Families as a part of the grand opening festivities. The check will be presented at a ribbon cutting to be held in the coming weeks. Members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend.
