Updated August 19, 2021 - 2:45 pm CT
At Love’s, we have always been committed to providing safe, clean and well-maintained stops that help get you back on the road quickly. We’ll continue to make that a priority, along with the health and safety of our team members and communities.
All Love’s locations are fully stocked with fuel. There are a handful of locations with temporary changes to hours of service, most of which are unrelated to COVID-19. Please check the Love’s Connect app or individual Loves.com location pages for accurate hours of service and amenities available.
Restaurant Availability
Starting Aug. 18, 2021, Love’s-owned restaurant dining rooms are operating at 50% capacity, where applicable. This change applies only to locations not under state or local mandates concerning dining room capacity. Check the Love’s Connect mobile app or the location page on Loves.com for restaurant hours at each Love’s location. Our restaurants continue to offer take-out and drive-thru options.”
Return to Self-serve Deli/Fountain/Roller Grill
As local and state regulations allow and other factors support it, select Love’s locations are permitting customer self-service at roller grills, fountain drinks and delis, and offer self-serve condiments, sugar and creamer. All other roller grills, fountain drinks and delis will remain full-service, with Love’s team members assisting our customers with their food and beverage needs.
Our team members will continue to implement heightened cleaning protocols at all Love’s locations and practice social distancing to help maintain a safe experience for our customers.
FAQ
Are customers required to wear masks at Love's/Speedco locations?
Starting Aug. 18, 2021, all Love’s and Speedco employees are required to wear face coverings, regardless of vaccination status.
Some cities, counties and states are requiring all employees and customers to wear masks, and the company will abide by these requirements.
As a professional truck driver, what are some other ways I can practice social distancing at Love’s?
The Love’s Connect app provides multiple contactless features to help limit your exposure to others. Love’s Mobile Pay allows you to answer prompts, arm the pump and receive a contactless, digital receipt using only your mobile phone from your cab. Mobile Shower Check In gives My Love Rewards members the contactless option to check in and pay for a shower with My Love Rewards points and credits and tells you when your shower is ready in store. Lastly, Mobile Receipts provides you access to contactless receipts from all transactions you make where your My Love Rewards card is swiped or scanned. For more information visit loves.com/app.
What other products and/or services are being affected?
Love’s is actively working to increase and maintain the distribution of certain high-demand in-store merchandise. Because demand has greatly increased, we will be limiting quantities as inventory is depleted on certain in-store merchandise. Customers can visit the in-store cashier for requested products and quantity allowances per customer.
Are you closing your showers?
Private shower rooms are still available. We know that this is a valuable service to drivers and will maintain our current procedures to keep this available for our customers. We will continue to monitor the situation and make the changes necessary to help keep our customers and employees safe.
What is Love’s doing to take care of its employees during this time?
Our employees have shown true dedication to America’s professional drivers during this crisis. As such, store employees have received bonuses, pay increases and additional sick pay related to COVID-19.
On Jan. 28, 2021, Love’s announced it will offer employees a $75 incentive to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The incentive covers all employees from the entire Love's Family of Companies, which also includes Love's Truck Care and Speedco centers, alternative fuel provider Trillium, its commodity trading company Musket, Gemini Motor Transport, its hotels and more.
Love’s developed a task force in response to COVID-19 that is focused on monitoring the situation and providing education, guidance and resources to employees. We are also educating employees on and providing CDC guidance to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
What’s Love’s doing to support the community during this time?
By serving professional drivers, we're part of getting America's vital goods, including medical and food supplies, delivered throughout the country.
We know that this time is especially trying for youth who depend on school resources daily. Love's donated $1 million to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County and an additional $500,000 to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City in December 2020. The $1.5 million donation was made to the United Way of Central Oklahoma's COVID-19 Relief Fund and earmarked for the two nonprofits. The company previously donated $100,000 to the United Way of Central Oklahoma's COVID-19 Response Fund, earmarked for services provided to youth. If you want to donate, click here.
In addition, Love’s is supporting the backbone of the U.S., professional drivers, with a $100,000 donation to the St. Christopher Truckers Development and Relief Fund. The donation will help professional drivers who can't work due to illness or injury, which could be more prevalent during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn how this donation will help professional drivers here.
We know this a difficult time for many people across the country, especially those who have lost their job due to closures. Multiple federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Department of Homeland Security, have recognized truck stops an essential business in the fight against COVID-19 and we’ve put protocols in place to try to maintain regular business at our over 540 locations in 41 states. Love’s continues to hire across the country. If you’d like to be part of our vital team, please take a look at our job openings, here. When you join #TeamLoves, you join a family.

We are employing frequent cleaning/disinfecting measures in all areas of our stores and encouraging social distancing. All Love’s and Speedco employees are required to wear face coverings, regardless of vaccination status. We also have placed additional hand sanitizing stations at our locations. Additionally, Love’s installed plexiglass at all store, restaurant and truck care/Speedco registers. This initiative is to help protect employees, as well as our customers, and abide by social distancing guidelines.
Can I continue to use My Love Rewards drink refill credits at Love’s Travel Stops?
