Love’s hotel in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, wins coveted award for superior customer service

Love's is no stranger to customer service and hospitality, but our hotel team in Tuscumbia, Alabama, just won an honor that deserves to be singled out.

The team at Best Western Plus Tuscumbia/Muscle Shoals has overcome all of 2020's challenges in stride. So much so, that Best Western awarded them the M.K. Guertin Award for superior customer care. The award goes to teams demonstrating the utmost levels of excellence in quality, guest satisfaction and commitment to the brand.

"In addition to being Best Western's most prestigious honor, this award also holds a lot of meaning to our brand," said David Kong, president and CEO of Best Western Hotels & Resorts. "Named after our founder, M.K. Guertin, the award recognizes properties that best demonstrate our foundational commitment to providing superior customer care."

Amanda Beavers, the hotel's general manager, says the key to her team's success stems from their adherence to Best Western's extra cleaning measures and attention to guest needs. Despite an initial dip in customers due to COVID-19, Amanda's team stuck to the health and safety guidelines laid out by Best Western and kept business steady.

Our team is a good team to work with. They're all happy and glad to be here. They take great care of our guests," said Amanda.

Along with the extra cleaning measures, Best Western Plus Tuscumbia/Muscle Shoals is the only hotel in the area still serving hot breakfast thanks to extra food attendants on-staff. The added amenity continues to keep guests feeling at home while traveling on the road.

If you're ever on the road in Northern Alabama and need to stop for some rest and relaxation - know you're in good hands with the team at Best Western Plus Tuscumbia/Muscle Shoals. After all, they've got the shiny award to prove it!
