Love’s participates in Giving Tuesday by donating $25,000 to Positive Tomorrows

Funds will go to the schools’ general operations

OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 30, 2021 - Love's Travel Stops is taking part in Giving Tuesday by donating $25,000 to Positive Tomorrows, Oklahoma's only school for children experiencing homelessness. This year's Giving Tuesday donation recipient was voted on by Love's corporate employees in Oklahoma City.

"Positive Tomorrows is one of our favorite organizations to give back to because they help kids in the community who need it most," said Jenny Love Meyer, chief culture officer and executive vice president of Love's. "The school is one of our employees' favorite places to visit during Love's annual Share the Love event, so it makes sense that they chose this organization for Giving Tuesday."

In normal times, Love's corporate employees tutor, throw birthday parties for and visit with the kids at Positive Tomorrows. In February, the school was given a donation for Love's annual Share the Love event in lieu of in-school visits.
