Love’s opens new travel stop in Trinidad, CO

OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 6, 2025 – Love’s Travel Stops is expanding its network with the addition of a new travel stop in Trinidad, Colorado, its 15th location in the state. Located at 1001 El Moro Road, along Interstate 25, this new store is between Love’s existing travel stops in Walsenberg, CO, and Las Vegas, New Mexico. Professional drivers will find 65 truck parking spaces, six diesel bays and four showers designed to maximize comfort and efficiency on the road. RVers can take advantage of the 10 RV hookups and three RV parking spaces as well.

Guests will also have access to a range of amenities that make each stop more convenient, from dog park to spacious restrooms and fresh dining options. This store includes a Love’s Fresh Kitchen concept with fresh food items such as sandwiches, salads and fresh fruit prepared daily, Arby’s and Dunkin’. Love’s is one of the largest food service operators in the country.

As a new Love’s, it also has space for EV chargers allocated to be able to quickly partner with local utility companies and install EV charging stations should there be customer demand. 
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,500 to Fisher’s Peak Elementary School, $2,500 to Somebody Cares Project and $5,000 to the Children’s Hospital Colorado. In addition, Love’s district managers work with eligible nonprofits in their area to make donations through community grants on an annual basis.
