Love’s reopens Turner Turnpike location in Stroud, Oklahoma

Rebuilt travel stop along I-44 includes modernized, expanded facilities and new amenities

Love's Travel Stop in Stroud, OKOKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 13, 2025 Love’s Travel Stops is now open again in Stroud, Oklahoma, after a complete raze and rebuild of its location along the westbound lanes of I-44 on the Turner Turnpike. The all-new, larger travel stop is conveniently located in Lincoln County on the Turner Turnpike to provide fresh food, larger restrooms and more for those traveling between Oklahoma City and Tulsa. For easier access, the rebuilt location now allows customers to take the right exit off the interstate. In addition, it will feature the first Love’s Truck Care location on an Oklahoma turnpike, which will open in early 2026.

“Love’s is a great partner, and OTA is excited to see a fuel stop and service station ready to serve motorists using the I-44/Turner Turnpike,” said Joe Echelle, Oklahoma Turnpike Authority executive director. “Having this stop at the midpoint between the state’s two largest metro areas is a significant convenience to motorists. We believe the enhancements Love’s is adding to this project such as the future truck care location will provide faster response to professional drivers, which improves safety for motorists.”

The newly reconstructed travel stop includes an expanded food service lineup, with Godfather’s Pizza, McDonald’s and Love’s Fresh Kitchen, which offers fresh cut fruit, salads, sandwiches, wraps and more prepared on-site daily. Through the Love’s app, travelers can find discounts on food and drinks and save 10 cents per gallon of gasoline and 25 cents per gallon of auto diesel.

In addition to upgraded food amenities, the renovation equips the location with larger restrooms, a dog park, 10 showers, laundry facilities, a total of 159 truck parking spaces, five dedicated RV spaces, four RV hookups and seven diesel bays.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $5,000 to the Stroud Food Pantry and $5,000 to Oklahoma Children’s Health Foundation.
