Love’s Travel Stops Brings 40 New Jobs and Truck Parking to New Mexico

OKLAHOMA CITY, June 28, 2018 - Love's Travel Stops (Love's) is now serving Customers in Las Vegas, New Mexico, with the opening of a new travel stop this morning. The store, located at the intersection of Interstate 25 and North Grand Avenue (Exit 347), opened its doors today and brings 40 new jobs to San Miguel County.

"We're happy to bring more clean places and friendly faces to Northeast New Mexico," said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love's. "Las Vegas is a great area for travelers passing through to Santa Fe or Albuquerque and we're excited to be a stop along the way."

The more than 6,000 square-foot facility features Subway and Chester's Chicken restaurants for Customers to enjoy. The store also offers brand-name snacks, gourmet coffee, fresh-to-go options, fountain drinks, electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of 32 truck-parking spots, four showers and laundry facilities.

In celebration of the grand opening, Love's will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in conjunction with the local chamber of commerce. During the ceremony, Love's will present a $2,000 donation to a local nonprofit organization
