Race: Bad Boy Off Road 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Winner: Kevin Harvick

Recap: The second race of the Chase saw veteran Kevin Harvick take the checkered flag ahead of Matt Kenseth after a restart with six laps left. Kyle Busch finished third behind Harvick and Kenseth after pitting for fresh tires under caution on Lap 265 and charging through the field. Brad Keselowski ran fourth and took over the Chase points lead by one point over Truex.

Chris Buescher: Buescher started in 28th and finished 30th. "We're just trying to get speed out of all of our cars. It was a tough day. We tried really hard with our Love's Ford Fusion," said Buescher. "We put a lot of effort into it, and we'll just keep digging and trying to get it better. We just have to keep plugging along."

What this means: Chris Buescher needs a victory at Dover next weekend to advance to the second round of the Chase. The Chase field will be cut from 16 to 12. Buescher said he's aware of the situation and he's going to give it his all. "Dover is a really good race track. I like that place a lot. We had a good finish for us there earlier this season, so we'll go there and see what we can do to get a win and try to move on to the second round of the Chase," Buescher said.

Next race: Citizen Soldier 400 at Dover International Speedway Oct. 2.
