Gemini Motor Transport has worked tirelessly to earn its reputation as an industry leader when it comes to safety. Transporting hazardous materials is no easy task, and Gemini's stringent practices and strict procedures have propelled us to the forefront of the industry for many years.

Gemini continues to accrue accolades and build on its excellent safety reputation. Most recently, National Tank Truck Carriers announced Gemini as the 2018 North American Safety Champion in its mileage division. It's a prestigious honor to receive the award and a reflection of our drivers' dedication to a job well done.

"I can't tell you how happy and proud I am," said Brent Bergevin, Vice President of Transportation. "It's a tremendous honor, and it all goes back to our professional drivers making it a priority to drive safely and defensively. In all we do each day, we strive to be the safest carrier while supporting Love's and making sure fuel is in the ground for our Customers."

NTTC is a trade association made up of more than 550 companies specializing in cargo-tank transportation services throughout North America. The award contest was highly competitive, and the association reviewed safety and security programs, training, management, and company operations. Gemini Motor Transport won its division with an accident frequency of 0.291 accidents per million miles.

Gemini will receive its award during the NTTC's annual conference later this month. Bergevin will also be recognized as one of the NTTC's Safety Professionals of the Year at the safety awards banquet in June.
