Just weeks after opening, one of our stores in South Carolina helped spread the Love during the holiday season.

In early December, Love's 740 in Yemassee, South Carolina, partnered with local law enforcement for its annual Shop with a Cop event.

Yemassee police and Hampton County deputies took more than two dozen underprivileged kids on a shopping spree at area retailers. After they worked up an appetite picking out toys, the children ended their morning at Hardee's at 740 with a free lunch, courtesy of Love's.

"It went off without a hitch," said Jeff Lee, General Manager at Love's 740. "I'm very proud that we're a part of this community and that we can show our support."

Shop with a Cop was the first community event for Jeff and his store, which opened in October. Jeff is a former police officer, so the cause is very close to his heart.

"It was awesome. The kids were so happy," he said. "The mayor was there and was very happy with our involvement."

Jeff and his team are looking for more opportunities to make a difference. Thank you, team 740, for being Great People Who Care in your community!
