Celebrating a Milestone: Love’s Opens 600th location in Perry, Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY, November 2, 2022 – In the heart of the community that helped jumpstart its nationwide travel stop brand, Love’s officially opened the doors of its 600th location in its home state of Oklahoma. This past Friday, the company’s newest location opened in Perry, Oklahoma. The consequential milestone finds its place in history in the same state that helped ignite the family-owned company nearly 60 years ago with its first location in Watonga, Oklahoma.

“Our 600th location in Perry, Oklahoma, is the product of a lot of years of hard work, perseverance, commitment and customer focus that has helped our whole organization to get better every single day,” said Jenny Love-Meyer, chief culture officer and executive vice president of Love’s. “It’s because of our customers and employees that we are able to provide the amenities and customer service that you see across all our locations.”

Located off exit 186 on Interstate 35, the Perry store adds 60 truck parking spaces, RV hookups and a dog park for customers to enjoy right off the highway while also adding 70 jobs to Noble County. Preserving its culture of giving generously to the communities it’s located, Love’s paired the grand opening with a $15,000 donation to the Oklahoma Lions Service Foundation in effort of making Lions Park in Perry more accessible to children of all abilities.

Dedicated to its home state, Perry’s opening marks the 81st location in the state of Oklahoma with no ceiling in sight, as Love’s looks to continues its growth plans on the road to 700.

“I stop at Love’s pretty much every day,” said 20-year truck driver, Chris. “There are so many things about Love’s that I enjoy – the convenience, the ability to schedule a shower on the app. To hear someone say ‘Welcome to Love’s' and to see their smiling face can sometimes really change your day.”
